Our human know-how, combined with latest generation equipment and machines, enables us to meet the most demanding technical challenges, in order to aim for excellence in all the components we design and produce.

necessary expertise for the manufacturing of micro-components and complex parts dedicated to Fine Watchmaking and Jewelry.

Synergy of different types of micro-engineering expertise

We bring together all the necessary expertise for the manufacturing of micro-components and complex parts dedicated to Fine Watchmaking and Jewelry under one roof. This in-house expertise allows us to manage and control every step of the production process, including elements such as:

  • bridges
  • plates
  • springs
  • jumpers
  • wheels
  • case middles
  • hands
  • dials
  • monobloc gongs

Each of these components can be made from

a variety of materials, such as:

  • brass
  • platinum
  • nickel silver
  • steel
  • gold
  • silver
  • Damascus steel
  • titanium
  • aluminum
Among the unique skills developed by MHG is the conventional production of monobloc gongs.

Recognized specialization: monobloc gongs

Among the unique skills developed by MHG is the conventional production of monobloc gongs. This complex watchmaking component is manufactured from a single piece of metal, carefully worked to produce high-quality sound, particularly for striking watches.

The monobloc gongs developed by MHG are solid and homogeneous, without joints or welds, and are struck by a hammer to produce an unparalleled sound.

The method, shape, and material chosen are key factors that affect the component's resilience and the quality of the sound emitted.

Our Machines

MHG has state-of-the-art equipment, such as a 5-axis Mikron CNC 5 (model HSM 200U LP), as well as a 3-axis CNC machine from the manufacturer Willemin-Macodel (701S) with a precision down to 1 micron, considered one of the most advanced and precise machines on the market. It also has a Schaublin 102 tour.

In addition, Manufacture Horlogère Genevoise carries out highly efficient dimensional checks using a Marcel Aubert machine, which enables holes, shapes and various dimensions to be measured with precision.
